One period of dance profit
Imagine you have $3,200 of profit after eligible work costs. Here is how the tracker records it.
- Profit for planningYou enter income minus eligible work costs for this period.
- $3,200
- Planning percentageAn editable assumption. This example uses 30%.
- 30%
- Planned set-asideThe sheet calculates profit × planning percentage.
- $960
- Paid to IRSYou enter payments you actually made separately.
- $960
Light green = you enter it. The planned set-aside is calculated.
Planning and paying are separate. The $960 plan is an amount to keep aside. “Paid to IRS” is a record of a payment already made. Entering numbers here does not move money or pay a tax bill.
The 30% is an example planning assumption, not your tax rate or a recommendation for what you owe.
